The people I can clique with better in the office are the IT uncle and the cleaners. I think I can finally understand why mins- always seem to be on closer terms with the office uncles and aunties, so I shall not tease her about being auntie-ish anymore. If not, I'll be stabbing myself right in the face.
They are much more amiable than the rest of the younger crowd, though "the rest" do not stick their noses up in the air and strut around the office. They just exude this sense of shared superiority in the way they conduct themselves which isnt exactly friendly.
Anyway, I feel that the cleaning old ladies are having a tough life. Waking up at 4am in the morning sound totally disgusting and sickening. To think I felt that dragging myself out of bed at 7am is hell. People that wake up after 10am should repent ya. I wonder if they are appreciated for their hard work, slogging their guts to keep the office spick and span. I doubt those ostentatious backstabbers will be so sweet. So you see, the World Toilet College is really not suitable for us, mindy dear. Back to the aunties, they are really nice people! So nice that I feel like giving them a hug.
The IT uncle told me about the grumbles of the sg workers towards "foreign talent" which I never gave a damn about before. But now I see them all around the place and I think strange accents are quite annoying. He talked about office politics too. The backstabbing of people in the higher management level depicted by him seem horrifying. I hope I'll not be engaged into anything like that when I officially enter the workplace.
Eh, hang on. Tai tais dont work.
