Sometimes, an Indian man from the recycling company will pop by SR to collect used papers and stuff free of charge. He will have to come by via the cargo lift and he cannot enter or leave the office without the security pass.
I am seated right at the other end of the cargo lift, separated by the partition whereby logistics, HR and IT department work. I heard the door bell rang on the other side so my IC asked me to open the door. So I fumbled with my shoes, groped around the table for my pass before walking over a whole 2 minutes later. Amazingly, no one from "the cargo lift side" made the slightest effort to even open the door for him though 5 of them were seated right next to the door. Fine, I shall pretend that all of them became deaf for 2 minutes and couldnt hear the bell blaring into their ears.
He made to leave after collecting the recycled paper so I made my way back to open the door for him since the people there are already deaf, it is very likely that they are blind too. And yes, indeed, they proved me right as no one saw a man with dark skin standing in front of the white washed walls, looking around uncertainly. I'm sure the contrast wasnt big enough for them to see him.
I hope all those stucked up people will party till they drop dead on the ground. And make it tomorrow. So I can leave SR happily.
